Responsibilities:
Mini-Prefect for “American Studies”
I am responsible for keeping an attendance log, monitoring classroom activity, ensuring cameras are turned on, verifying that names and surnames are correctly recorded, reminding students to record lessons, communicating with the teacher, assisting with any questions, relaying information to students, and sending reminders about house points distribution.
Vice Head of Prefects : I manage lesson schedules and oversee mini-prefects. Starting from Week 3 of the semester, I create journals for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and partially Sunday. I also check whether prefects send journals and emails to teachers on time, create tables with key information about prefects and lessons, maintain an attendance record for prefect selection to the Student Council, and monitor the activity of these students.
Buddy: I help new students adapt during their first two weeks at Svitlo by informing them about the house system, reminding them to join the appropriate Telegram group, answering their questions, and assisting them as needed.
Reading Buddy: I read English books with younger students to help them improve their language comprehension.
Co-Teacher in the Mafia Club:Together with another Svitlo student, I organize and run Mafia games for both younger and older students.
Copywriter & Content Creator for Instagram:I write captions for Instagram posts, create video content, generate ideas, and assist in their implementation. Additionally, I contribute to writing blog posts.
Discussion Topics Presenter: I create presentations for discussion topics at Svitlo.
Ambassador: I promote Svitlo by sharing information about the school, giving presentations at my Ukrainian school, and helping recruit new students.
Plans for the Future:
I aspire to build a career in film production, master the profession of a film director, take an active role in social and political issues, and become a member of influential international organizations to contribute to solving global challenges.

Svitlo has become an integral part of my life, a source of knowledge, motivation, and inspiration. It has helped me become more open, gain invaluable experience in communication, and connect with amazing people. My English has improved significantly, making it easier for me to speak and understand the language. Additionally, I’ve met wonderful friends here.
